Barbour Chamber Supports Future Business Leaders of America

Reg Trefethen, president of the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, left, presented the Chamber’s annual check for $200 in support of the Future Business Leaders Club of Philip Barbour High School. Student members of the club have traditionally assisted with the distribution of door prizes at the Chamber’s annual banquet hosted at Alderson Broaddus University. Members pictured include FBLA President Tristen Furby holding the envelope, Maela Carr, Skylar Ketchem, Chloe Mouser and Brianna Williams and Club Adviser Gerald Furby, right. The Chamber’s envelope also held a check for an additional $500, to assist the nine members of the club to travel to Anaheim, California, next month, to compete in the finals of the National Leadership Conference.
