Baby Pantry Donation

The West Virginia Health Plan recently donated $2,500 to the Randolph County Baby Pantry to support restocking efforts. The donation allowed to pantry to purchase two cases of formula, 6,484 diapers and 198 packs of baby wipes. The pantry provides diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and other essential baby items to families in Randolph County who have children up to age 5. Residents may visit the baby pantry on the second Friday of each week from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 2-3:30 p.m. or the third Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Qualifications for the pantry are: One visit per family per month, children must be with you at time of visit and must be between the ages of newborn to age 5, there also are no income guidelines for the pantry. The Randolph County Baby Pantry is located at the Family Resource Network office, which is located at the Phil Gainer Community Center (Old Armory) in Elkins.
