Randolph County Fair pageant set

Chancellor

BEVERLY — The 2017 Randolph County Fair will kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday with the Miss and Miss Teen Randolph County Fair pageant. Twelve young ladies will vie for the right to represent the Randolph County Fair for the next year as Miss Randolph County Fair queen and Miss Teen Randolph County Fair queen. Doors will open at 6 p.m. There is an admission fee. Concession will be available. The pageantry will continue Sunday, with the second annual Randolph County Fair Children’s Pageant.

Teen contestants are:

Sierra Chancellor, 13, of Beverly, is the daughter of Cindy Chancellor and Patrick Chancellor. She is an eighth-grade student at Tygarts Valley Middle School and is sponsored by her family.

Jaden Pratt, 14, of Elkins, is the daughter of Seth and Michelle Pratt. She is a freshman at Elkins High School and is sponsored by Isner Law Office.

Maybelle Warner, 13, of Hillsboro, is the daughter of Keley and Justin Warner. She is an eighth-grade student at Green Bank Elementary Middle School and is sponsored by Lewis County Junior Miss Queen Nina Coberly.

Pratt

Bailey Bishop, 15, of Beverly, is the daughter of Melissa Kisner. She is a sophomore at Elkins High School and is sponsored by R&R Developers.

Natalie Petrice, 14, of Coalton, is the daughter of Rena Long and Steve Petrice. She is a freshman at Elkins High School and is sponsored by family and friends.

Tiaearigra “Tia” Mathews, 14, of Beverly, is the daughter of Chassity Shiflett and Eric Cochran. She is a sophomore at Elkins High School and is sponsored by family.

Jocelyn Martin, 15, of Elkins, is the daughter of John and Danelle Martin. She is a sophomore at Elkins High School and is sponsored by Laurel Mountain Timber and Van Broughton.

Miss contestants are:

Warner

Erin Hohl, 17, of Elkins, is the daughter of Jennifer Hohl. She is a senior at Elkins High School and is sponsored by Advance Realty and Nancy Dotson.

Katlyn Ruddle, 17, of Franklin, is the daughter of Roy and Jenny Ruddle. She is a senior at Pendleton County High School and is sponsored by Franklin Fox’s Pizza.

Rochelle Shoulders, 16, of Beverly, is the daughter of Doug and Tammy Shoulders. She is a junior at Elkins High School and is sponsored by Campbell’s Market.

Kaylee Halterman, 16, of Beverly, is the daughter of Carol Morgan and Steve and Brenda Halterman. She is a junior at Tygarts Valley High School and is sponsored by Grimes Enterprises.

Alexa Cunningham, 18, is the daughter of Anissa Thorne and Jennings Bradburn. She is freshman majoring in nursing at Davis & Elkins College and is sponsored by Lavender Fields Assisted Living.
