Herb Fall Conference planned
This weekend Jacksons Mill features the annual West Virginia Herb Fall Conference. Many herb growers and sellers, herbalists and mushroom experts, will be sharing their knowledge and expertise in workshop format from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday.
Among the many workshops this year are herbs and homeopathics for animal health, CBDs, fire cider, beekeeping, tinctures, tonics and salves, medicinal cannabis, growing garlic in West Virginia, phytoremediation and a mushroom foray on Sunday afternoon. Many growers and herbal medicine makers will have products for sale.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. Saturday and will run throughout the conference. Keynote speaker for the Conference is West Virginia Deputy Commissioner of Agriculture Joe Hatton. There is an admission charge.
