22 Shooting Match for youth scheduled for July 29

COALTON — West Virginia Double Tap Gun Club will be host a 22 Shooting Match July 29 for youth (males and females) ages 4-16.

There will be four age divisions: 4-6, 7-9, 10-13 and 14-16.

The shooting match will begin at 10 a.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Home in Coalton. Awards/trophies in each age division will depend on the number of participants entered.

According to Instructor/Director James Blackburn, a “cold range” rule will be in effect, meaning that there will be no rounds in the chamber, no magazines inserted and no open actions until verbally permitted by the Range Officer.

WVDTGC is a West Virginia non-profit organization with a mission to promote the safe use of firearms.
