Club Hosts Garden Therapy Activity

Submitted photo The Fred Brooks Garden Club provided a Mother’s Day garden therapy activity for residents of Serenity Care. Club members provided the residents a choice of red or white begonias to plant in pots for their room. Eleven residents participated in the activity, and flowers were potted and provided to all the other residents. All the flowers, pots and potting soil were provided by the Fred Brooks Garden Club. First row, from left, are Sue Darnell, Garden Club member and Betty Weimer, resident of Serenity Care; and second row, Garden Club members Sandra McCutcheon, Millie Hornbeck and Jane Weimer.
