ELKINS — The auxiliary to Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center recently met for its Christmas luncheon at the center.
Tara Shaver, administrator of ERCC, gave suggestions of equipment that the auxiliary could purchase that would be of help in patient care. The auxiliary voted to purchase two vital machines at a cost of $3,088 for the nursing department to use in patient care. Proceeds from the auxiliary Gift Ship are donated for the care of the residents.
Vice president Judy Guye announced there will be a Valentine Gift Shop sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 8, sponsored by the auxiliary. Auxiliary members are asked to donate gently used jewelry, scarves and Valentine baked goods.
