Elkins Bookhounds announce book sale
ELKINS — A semi-annual used book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Library is scheduled for May 15-18 in the basement of the Elkins-Randolph County Library.
This year’s sale offers hundreds of gently-read books in all categories. There will be a wide variety of fiction: mystery, adventure, crime, fantasy, romance, Amish, as well as a plentiful choice of children’s books.
The non-fiction choices are just as varied including biography, cooking, crafts, history, sports, handy-man and how-to, fitness, religious and spiritual, self-help, animals and pets, psychology, politics, science, travel and more.
All of the proceeds from the sale go to support programming and special projects at the Library and, of course, buying new books. Sale hours are from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day with a special preview for members of Friends of the Library from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
