Reg Trefethen, left, manager of the Barbour County Development Authority and the outgoing president of the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, was presented the Chamber’s Past President’s Award for his two terms of outstanding service during the chamber’s recent annual banquet meeting at Alderson Broaddus University. The award is in the form of an American walnut plaque containing a full-sized walnut gavel and a brass plate reading, ‘Outstanding President.’ The award was delivered by Dr. Tim Barry, right, president of Alderson Broaddus University, the in-coming chamber president.
