First Baptist Church goes ‘in the Wild’ for VBS

Gas up the all-terrain vehicle and head out on a wilderness adventure like no other. Snag a picture or two. This summer kids will focus on some amazing, real-life encounters with Jesus. Each encounter is like a snapshot — a specific moment in time captured on the pages of Scripture.

Children will hear about Jesus: in the Temple, at the river for a special baptism, on the water, at the tomb and on the road to Emmaus. And when put together, these individual encounters revel the most amazing truth of all — Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the son of God. “But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” John 20:31

Join us at the First Baptist Church of Elkins from 6 – 8 p.m. July 8-12 for music, games, crafts and five nightly encounters with Jesus. Children will be dropped off and picked up in the sanctuary. Friday night will be Family Night, where families can join together for the fun and fellowship of VBS.

For more information, call the church office at 304-636-3448. Join us at the First Baptist Church on 412 Randolph Avenue by Elkins City Park.
