Roby takes on dual role at Davis & Elkins

ELKINS — Davis & Elkins College alumna Kelsie Roby has been appointed enrollment advisor and athletics liaison at her alma mater.

As an enrollment advisor, Roby assists prospective students and their families in Barbour, Randolph and Upshur counties learn more about a liberal arts education at D&E. In her role as athletics liaison, Roby assists the athletic department in the recruiting process for all student-athletes.

A native of Petersburg, Roby earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise science with a minor in history in 2019. For three years, she served as a student ambassador in the Admission Office.

“As an alumna and former student ambassador, I am prepared to let prospective students know what a fantastic experience they will have here as a member of the D&E family,” Roby said.

During her undergraduate career, Roby also was active as a student-athlete, participating three years on the tennis team and one year on the triathlon team. In 2018, she was selected by her peers as Miss D&E and as homecoming Junior Princess in 2017. She also worked in the Office of Student Life, and participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
