Chamber plans bi-monthly meeting Aug. 22

ELKINS — Everyone is invited to the chamber’s August bi-monthly meeting. After suspending the quarterly meetings last fall, the chamber is excited about bringing back a lunch gathering for chamber members and community members, too. Each bi-monthly meeting will focus on one specific business category, but all members are invited as general Chamber information and topics will be shared as well.

The gathering, which begins at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at The Arts Center, will focus on Mind, Body, and Soul. Guest presenters will be Tracy Fath, Duane Bolster, and Mindy Chua from Davis Health System. Chamber President Mark Doak will share What’s Happening at the Chamber with special emphasis on two items: “Micro Chambers” and “Building a Vibrant Community” by Quint Studer. Chamber Executive Director Lisa Wood will present information on upcoming programs including a collaborative Internship/Leadership Summer Initiative. Attendance cost includes lunch.

Save the date for these upcoming bi-monthly meetings: Oct. 23, Dec. 12 and Feb. 13.
