The Millers appearing at Tygart Valley Ministries
The Millers, a southern gospel trio based in Winchester, Virginia, but first formed in Elkins 20 years ago, will be appearing in the Elkins area Sunday, Nov. 17, at Tygart Valley Ministries Beverly Community Church, 496 Main Street in Beverly.
The service will start at 6 p.m. and Curly Ray Jr. is the pastor.
The Millers originally consisted of former Elkins residents Randy Miller and Phil Hinkle, along with tenor singer Randy Simpson from Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After several years off the road, the group reformed in 2012 with Randy Miller’s wife, Becky, taking Phil’s place.
This is their last scheduled appearance in Randolph County for 2019 and only their second appearance in the area since the Mountain State Forest Festival almost 18 years ago.
The Millers are a nationally-known southern gospel group based in Winchester, Virginia. The Millers travel throughout the United States and Canada, performing at various concert venues and churches. They appear annually at Dollywood and the National Quartet Convention, both based in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
