Since 2001, NWTF Chapters throughout North America have helped ensure a happy holiday season for their neighbors through the Turkey Hunters Care Program.

The program is about brightening the holidays for those who may need a little assistance during the holiday season. To date, 113,159 turkeys have been donated to families, food pantries, churches and homeless shelters since the program began.

Locally, this year turkeys were provided for Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Harrison Community Church, Beverly United Methodist Church Food Pantry, Randolph County Homeless Shelter and a family in the Helvetia area. It’s always good to help others who may not have a lot and the Tygart Valley Chapter are fortunate enough to be able to brighten the holiday season for them.
