RAD ride raises funds for CAV
Organizers said local motorcyclists had a great day at the RAD (Riders Against Domestic violence) ride that took place on May 23.
Officials said there was a great turnout for the event, and announced that $1,200 was raised for Centers Against Violence, formally known as Women’s Aid in Crisis.
Heather Fowler, standing in for CAV Interim Director Jean Poling at the event, pulled the tickets for door prizes. Organizer Tracy Harper said it was great to see the community coming together for an event that benefits so many.
