FLU SHOTS: Free community flu shots will be given at the following times: 3 – 5 p.m. today, Buckhannon Medical Care; 4 – 6 p.m. Tuesday, during Feed the City, Railyard Restaurant, Elkins; and noon – 1 p.m. Oct. 30, Elkins City Hall.

REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE: A consumer representative from Attorney General Patrick Morrisey’s Office will conduct public events throughout the north central counties. The office representative will educate consumers on the latest scams in their area, provide tips on how to guard their personal information and answer questions about consumer protection settlements. Scheduled events are: 11 a.m. to noon today, Parsons Senior Center, 217 Senior Lane, Parsons; 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Upshur County Senior Center front porch, 28 N. Kanawha St., Buckhannon; and 11 a.m. to noon Oct. 28, Randolph County Commission Meeting Room, 4 Randolph Ave., Elkins. The sessions are open to the public; reservations are not required. BONNIE’S BUS: Bonnie’s Bus, a digital mammography center on wheels, will offer digital mammograms and breast care education to women from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Tri County Health Clinic in Rock Cave. For an appointment, call 304-924-6262. This is a service of WVU Medicine and the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.

GOSPEL SING: Blue Rock Church will host a gospel sing at 7 p.m. Saturday. The featured singer will be Dustin Lambert.

REVIVAL AND PRAYER SERVICES: Calvary Church will host revival and prayer services at 7 p.m. Sunday, worship with Tyler Arbogast and preaching with Paul Brady in Valley Head on Route 219. For more information, call Dave Powell at 304-339-4037.

FREE SPAGHETTI DINNER: Summit Church will offer a free spaghetti dinner, served to go, at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on the porch of the Railyard Restaurant in Elkins. All are welcome! If you would like to volunteer to serve this day, call 681-298-8353.

CHRISTIAN HARVEST PARTY: Otterbein United Methodist Church will host a drive-thru Christian Harvest Party from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 28 for all area children and youth, ages 17 and younger at 1100 S. Davis Ave. in Elkins. Church volunteers will deliver special gift bags to your vehicle for all children present. Please enter the alley by the church, which will be one-way for the event, at South Davis Avenue turning at Perfection Plus. BUCKWHEAT BREAKFAST: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5781 will host a buckwheat breakfast from 8 a.m. – noon Nov. 7 at the post home in Harman. The menu will consist of buckwheat and regular pancakes, sausage, fried potatoes, sausage gravy, eggs, juice, milk and coffee. A 50/50 raffle will be held. Please wear masks when entering the building. Carry outs will be available.

CITRUS FRUIT/RADA SALE: Elkins Area Bands annual citrus fruit/RADA sale will be through Nov. 6. To place an order, see any Elkins High School or Elkins Middle School band student or call 304-636-2721. Pick-up will be Dec. 4.

REVIVAL: A revival is set for the first Thursday (Nov. 5) of the month through December from 6-8 p.m. at Jawbone Park in Buckhannon. Speakers include Delane McDaniel, with the Key to Life Prison Ministry, and Mike House, with the Ambassador Baptist Church and Elkins Christian Academy.
