Kump Education Center offering tutoring

ELKINS — Kump Education Center is offering free individual tutoring for students who have fallen behind in their academic progress during the COVID-19 shutdown.

After-school tutoring is also available in the Randolph County Schools, and the public school program is more accessible for students who do not have a ride to KEC after school. Transportation remains a problem for students who wish to participate in free educational programs at KEC.

Tech-link tutors have been serving a few students by Zoom since February. We hope to be able to provide transportation to KEC after summer school, but at this time students must depend on parents, grandparents, or trusted friends to bring them for their tutoring sessions.
