Brown Bag Concerts resume Wednesday at The Arts Center

ELKINS — On Wednesday at noon, musician and artist Chet Lowther will perform in a Brown Bag Concert at The Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Lowther is a singer/songwriter, artist, and art teacher who lives in Charleston. He sings and plays a variety of country and blues, and has performed several times in the past at The Arts Center.

“We felt it was time for us to resume our free, monthly Brown Bag Concerts for the community,” said Arts Center Executive Director Kurt Barkley. “While masks are not mandatory, we do encourage everyone to be mindful of their health and the health of others.”

Brown Bag concerts are staged on the third Wednesday of every month at 12 noon, and feature an array of singers and musicians from the region and across the Mountain State.

The Aug. 18 Brown Bag Concert will feature Willie Ward, JB Tenney and Jesse Leigh.
