Reunions

KNUTTI: The annual Knutti family reunion will be Sunday at the pavilion located in the campground across U.S. Route 33 from the Bowden Post Office. A church service will be from 11 a.m. to noon, and the picnic will be at 1 p.m. Please bring a covered dish to share and a donated item to sell in the auction. SMITH: The annual Laban Smith Reunion will be July 25 at noon at the Dry Fork Community Center behind the Old Mill. Please bring a dish to share, a chair and something for the silent auction.

WAYBRIGHT-TETER: The reunion of the late Don Waybright and Irabelle Teter Waybright family will be Sunday, July 25, at the Flanagan Hill Community Building at Red Creek. Lunch will begin at 12:30 p.m. Please bring a covered dish and drink to share. Paper products and tableware will be provided.

MULLENNEX: The Mullennex family reunion will be July 31 at the home of Victoria Mullenex, the old Martin Mullenex home place located at 1963 Dry Fork Road in Harman. Lunch will begin at 2 p.m. Anyone who wishes to attend is asked to bring a covered dish. For more information call 304-227-4156 or 304-227-4412.

CANFIELD: The annual Canfield reunions will be held Sunday, Aug. 1, at the Reunion Grounds. Turn at the Iron Horse Statue, near Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church on Randolph Avenue, go five miles turn right on Mt. Zion Road, the Reunion Grounds are at the bottom of the mountain. Bring food to share for lunch at 12:30 p.m. This year the food tables will be on the pavilion. If you do not want to eat lunch sitting on one of the benches, bring a lawn chair. The program will be held in Mt. Zion Church after lunch.

HOWES: The annual Howes reunion will be Aug. 1 at Indian Camp in Upshur County. Everyone is welcome. Lunch is at 1 p.m.

EVANS: The descendants of Daniel L. and Edna Shaffer Evans will hold their 40th annual family reunion on Saturday, Aug. 7, at Arnold’s Park in Leadmine. A covered dish lunch will be served at 1 p.m. The Elwood Evans family is in charge. Please bring a gift to be raffled.

PASTINE: Family and friends of the late Toney and Annie Miller Pastine are invited to attend the annual reunion on Sunday, Aug. 8, at the Phillips Chapel Church Pavilion in Jimstown. Lunch will be served at noon. Meat, drinks, paper products and silverware will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and two items for the auction.

D.K. TETER REUNION: will be Sunday, Aug. 8 at Stuarts Park at the Big Pavilion No. 2. The attendant at the entrance will provide directions. There is no admission charge. The meal will be at 1:30 p.m. Please bring a covered dish. Meat and condiments, drink and table service will be furnished. Please bring chairs if possible. COOK-TINGLER: Family and friends of the late James and Vernie Tingler Cook are invited to attend the 70th Cook-Tingeler reunion on Sunday, Aug. 8, at 1 p.m. at the pavilion on Lambert’s Campground located 18 miles east of Elkins on Route 33 along the Laurel Fork River. Please bring a covered dish to share. Tableware will be provided.

WELCH: The family of Wirt and Mable Welch will hold their annual Welch family reunion Aug. 14 at Camp Pioneer in the Ag Building in Beverly. Please bring a covered dish for lunch at the camp.
