AB and WVNCC sign agreement
PHILIPPI — Alderson Broaddus University and West Virginia Northern Community College signed an articulation agreement in Wheeling on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
The agreement provides several baccalaureate pathways for WVNCC graduates. Students can seamlessly transfer to AB and complete a bachelor’s degree online at a reduced tuition rate.
“Alderson Broaddus University is delighted to join in partnership with West Virginia Northern Community College to provide new and engaged educational opportunities,” said Dr. James “Tim” Barry, AB president. “This agreement continues the desire of the University to enable West Virginia students the avenue of additional educational attainment.”
AB currently offers seven online bachelor’s programs that are available to West Virginia Northern Community College’s students.
“This agreement reinforces our ongoing commitment to student success and creating opportunities for our students who have a desire to continue their education,” commented Dr. Daniel Mosser, WVNCC president. “I commend the leadership of Alderson Broaddus University for seamlessly opening their doors to our students.”
Additionally, Alderson Broaddus has articulation agreements with Pierpont Community and Technical College (CTC) in Fairmont, New River CTC in Beaver, BridgeValley CTC in South Charleston, Southern West Virginia CTC in Logan and the West Virginia Department of Education.
