FALL FESTIVAL: Plan now to attend Fall Festival at Highland Adventist School The two hour event is open to the public and will be held on Saturday from 6:30-8:30 pm at the school located at 777 Kennedy Street, Elkins (between North School and Mountain Aire Estates). Activities include hayrides (weather permitting), bonfire with s’mores, silent auction for home baked goods, photo booth, carnival games, face painting and more. Admission to the venue, bonfire, s’mores, and hayride are all free. Tickets are sold at the door for food and other activities. To take the hayride to the Festival, park at North School and catch the next wagon. Parking also available at Highland Adventist School. PIZZA SALE: The Whitmer Methodist Church will be holding a Pizza sale on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The homemade pizza is offered as takeout only and the cost is $10 for a pepperoni and cheese pizza, and $12 for a pizza with everything. For more information call 304-227-4798.

HIDDEN SPACES TOUR: Join the Beverly Heritage Center 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, to explore more of Beverly’s secret, hidden side during the the Hidden Spaces Tour. The tour will show the inside of four different buildings in different states of restoration, including the site of the first amputation of the Civil War; home to the earliest graffiti associated with a Civil War battle; the 1841 Randolph County Jail; and the I.O.O.F. building, a fully completed preservation project.
