Free ‘Spooktacular’ set Thursday

ELKINS — Local children are invited to a free “Spooktacular” event on Halloween night featuring hay rides, candy, a bonfire and surprises.

The “Spooktacular” evening will run from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the Magnolia Hall at Scott Hill, located at 2000 Livingston Avenue in Elkins. Please enter from the Georgetown Road.

Kids are invited to travel through Robin’s haunted rooms, see the Headless Horseman, receive lots of candy, and enjoy hay rides with a surprise along the way!

Children can come dressed in their Halloween costume, enjoy the bonfire and take part in many more activities.

The free community event is sponsored by Robin Miller and Friends, Scott Hill Mansion, Kathy’s Decorating & Design, Mountain Hospice, MLC Assisted Care, Master Service Corp., Davis Health, Vandalia Health, Tomblyn Funeral Home, Dr. Garrett Butler, Odd Fellows Manor and Elkins Mountain School.
