CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: at Whitmer Community Church, formerly Whitmer Methodist, will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. The event will feature music, skits, fun and celebrating the birth of Jesus. Everyone is welcome.
CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE: will be Tuesday, beginning at 7 p.m. at Israel Church, located on the Israel Church Road near Kerens. All are invited to come and enjoy the program.
CHRISTMAS AT THE KUMP HOUSE: On Saturday, Dec. 28, from 1-4 p.m. Tour the 1925 historic home of Gov. Kump decorated for the holidays! The Open House features a model train display, snowman wonderland, light refreshments, and benefits the Kump Education Center. 401 Randolph Ave. (across from Kroger). HARMAN ROCKIN’ NEW YEARS EVE: Free event to ring in the new year at the Harman Fire Hall from 10 p.m. to midnight. The free event will include a bouncy house, horse drawn carriage rides, a hot dog bar, popcorn, hot chocolate bar, drinks, a DJ, live band and fireworks at midnight.
