KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FISH FRY: will be offered Fridays during Lent at St. Brendan Catholic Church Parish Hall today and on March 14, 21 and 28, and April 4 and 11, from 4-7 p.m. each day. The menu will be fish, french fries, coleslaw, bread, dessert and a drink. There is a cost for adults, and a lesser cost for children ages 5 to 12. Children under 5 will be admitted free.

AMERICAN LEGION BIRTHDAY DINNER: The H. W. Daniels Post 29, The American Legion will host its 106th Birthday Dinner on  Saturday, March 15, with the social hour beginning at  5:30 p.m. and a  program/dinner at  6:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Donald Lambert. The menu will consist of ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, roll, dessert and drink. Tickets available at the Post Home & Clubroom at 326 Railroad Avenue. BUCKWHEAT AND PANCAKE BREAKFAST: The Randolph County IOOF will host a sourdough buckwheat breakfast at the Lodge Hall on the Beverly Five-lane on Saturday, March 15, from 7 a.m. to noon. The menu will include sourdough buckwheat cakes, regular pancakes, biscuits and gracy, sausage, eggs, milk, coffee or orange juice. Take-out orders will be available.

HOT DOG DINNER: Randolph County Meals on Wheels will host a hot dog dinner on Saturday, March 15, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Orchard Hall in Elkins. The dinner will include two hot dogs with T-Mart chili, baked beans, cole slaw, dessert and drink. There will be a silent auction and entertainment provided.

PANCAKE FEED: will be at the Beverly United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 15 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. The menu will feature your choice of buckwheat or regular pancakes, plus eggs, sausage, sausage gravy and a beverage. There will be a cost for the meal. 

OLD TIME MUSIC: Join in the first and third Mondays, 7-9 p.m. at The Arts Center in Elkins for an Old Time Music Session. Beginning musicians are encouraged to join in. Fiddle, Mandolin, Guitar, Banjo, Dulcimer, Bass are welcome. Participants enter through the back door. For more information, contact dp-foot@hotmail.com.
