Annual International Ride-In coming to Davis
CANAAN VALLEY — Women On Wheels (WOW), a nationally recognized motorcycle organization supporting and celebrating female motorcyclists, will host its 39th annual International Ride-In at the scenic Canaan Valley Resort in Davis from June 24-26.
This signature event offers a dynamic schedule packed with riding, education, camaraderie, and exploration.
Highlights include a member bike show, a hands-on Basic Motorcycle Mechanics Workshop, and a celebratory banquet recognizing outstanding WOW members and chapter achievements.
Cathy Davies, a WOW member for over 38 years and an accomplished endurance rider, will be a keynote speaker. Cathy will recount her recent adventures navigating the demanding roads of Nepal, including the Kathmandu Valley. With a résumé that includes a 40,000-mile world tour across 31 countries in just eight months, Cathy brings a global perspective on the thrill and challenges of long distance motorcycling.
Guided and self-led rides will explore the breathtaking beauty, historical landmarks, and unique small-town charm of the Canaan Valley region. As most participants will be visitors, WOW reminds local drivers to stay alert and share the road — safety first, always. The WOW Ride-In is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA).
Although Women On Wheels focuses and supports women who ride, it warmly welcomes men, children and non-riders alike.
