Flash Floods Hit Barbour County

The Inter-Mountain photo by Sara Harris Heavy rains around 6 p.m. Tuesday in Barbour County led to flash flooding that closed several roads. Above, the Mt. Liberty and Union roads are blocked from high water. According to communications from the Barbour County Office of Emergency Management, Bills Creek road was also impassable. At least one family was displaced and the American Red Cross was called to assist with flood-relief efforts.
