Lewis County grand jury indicts 22

WESTON — A Lewis County grand jury met Monday and returned 22 indictments, including several drug charges.

• Michael Matthew Pumphrey, 39, of Camden, was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana.

• Andrew Ervin Potter II, 48, of Camden, was indicted on one felony count of manufacture of a controlled substance, marijuana.

• Jason Scott Thayer, 38, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, heroin, and one felony count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, heroin.

• Carla Sue Fittro, 52, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, heroin, and one felony count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, heroin.

• Bryant Jackson Howell, 29, of Elkins, was indicted on one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, marijuana.

• Betty Jean Hitt, 48, of Lost Creek, was indicted on six felony counts of fraudulent use of an access device.

• James Dean Lorentz, 34, of Weston, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

• Rodney Scott Wilkinson, 51, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of manufacture of a controlled substance, marijuana.

• Justin Kyle Fultz, 33, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of strangulation and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery.

• Randolph Michael Bachman, 45, of French Creek, was indicted on two felony counts of domestic assault, third offense.

• Russell William Huff, 22, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of attempted malicious or unlawful assault, one felony count of strangulation and one felony count of child neglect creating risk of injury.

• David Angel Mendez, 29 of Jane Lew, was indicted on one felony count of child neglect creating risk of injury and one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

• Donald Lee Bowers, 41, of Napier, was indicted on two felony counts of shoplifting, third offense, one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and one misdemeanor count of obstructing an officer.

• William Daniel Blake II, 45, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of domestic battery, third offense, one misdemeanor count of destruction of property and one misdemeanor count of obstructing an officer.

• Derrick Lee Stalnaker, 24, of Jane Lew, was indicted on one felony count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third offense.

• Joseph Dewain Goldsmith, 33, of Weston, was indicted on two felony counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, one felony count of possessing deadly weapon on premises of educational facility, one felony count of use or presentation of a firearm during the commission of a felony and two misdemeanor count of unlawful restraint.

• Shawn Douglas Parmer, 29, of Weston, was indicted on two felony counts of prohibited person in possession of a concealed firearm, one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, heroin, one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Clonazepam, one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Alprazolam, one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, Buprenorphine, and two misdemeanor counts of prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

• Amy Donella Yoakum, 28, of Ellamore, was indicted on two felony counts of child neglect creating risk of injury, one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, and one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance, Buprenorphine.

• Russell Scott John, 34, of Jane Lew, was indicted on one felony count of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, one felony count of use or presentation of a firearm during commission of a felony and one misdemeanor count of prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

• Dylan Andrew Sharples, 26, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of burglary and one felony count of grand larceny.

• Alexander Joseph Dozier, 27, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, was indicted on one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine.

• Jacob Taylor Trahan, 21, of Nutter Fort, was indicted on one felony count of fleeing with reckless indifference, one misdemeanor count of battery on a law enforcement officer, one misdemeanor count of assault on a law enforcement officer and one misdemeanor count of obstructing an officer.

Arraignment hearings will begin at 9 a.m. on Nov. 9 at the Lewis County Judicial Annex Circuit Courtroom.

An indictment is merely an accusation. All defendants are presumed innocent until and unless they are proven guilty.
