Detroit man sentenced for heroin distribution

ELKINS — Dontez Rayshawn Hudson, of Detroit, Michigan, was sentenced to 18 months incarceration for a heroin distribution charge, United States Attorney Bill Powell announced.

Hudson, 34, pled guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin in October 2018. Hudson admitted to distributing heroin in Randolph County in May 2017.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen D. Warner prosecuted the case on behalf of the government. The Mountain Region Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force investigated.

U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided.
