Flood waters covered several streets in Marlinton Monday morning. According to the National Weather Service, snow melt along with significant rainfall caused flooding issues in the area. Randolph, Barbour, Pocahontas and Upshur counties were under a Flood Warning until 6 a.m. today. According to the warning, many roads were closed by the rising water, and drivers were advised to not cross flooded roadways.
