Artist Members’ Exhibit set at The Arts Center

ELKINS — The Arts Center is opening a new exhibit today which will run through July.

The Members’ Exhibit is an annual art exhibit which features works by artist members of The Arts Center. All members may submit up to three original pieces of art to the show. This year’s exhibit features works by many area artists, and includes sculpture, fabric art, paintings, and drawings in various media.

“This exhibit is always one of the most interesting of the year, and one of the benefits of being an artist member of The Arts Center,” said The Arts Center Executive Director Kurt Barkley. “Members have the opportunity to display their work to the community, compare their work to others, and even sell their pieces.”

Artists include: Kevin Woodcock, Michael Doig, Betty Neely, Tessa Garver-Daniels, Maggi Rhudy, Macie Higgins, Joe McInroy, Becky Amorese, Alice-Gervais, Judy Van Gundy, John Terry, Alain Kieny, Don Hall, Margo Blevin Denton, John Warner, Katy McClane and Jennifer Boyle.

The exhibit is free and open to the public Tuesday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and also on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m..
