Upshur Farm Bureau to hold Saturday membership drive
The Upshur County Farm Bureau, in conjunction with Buckhannon Southern States Co-op, will be holding a Farm Bureau membership drive on Saturday, May 8 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Buckhannon Southern States.
Every new (non-youth) Upshur County Farm Bureau membership received from May 8 through May 14 will receive a $25 Southern States gift card.
West Virginia Farm Bureau has been the “Voice of Agriculture in the Mountain State” for over 100 years by being an advocate for farmers, landowners and consumers.
Southern States is approaching 100 years of business, with the Buckhannon Co-op approaching 80 years of serving Buckhannon and beyond.
For the past 24 years, Upshur County Farm Bureau has proudly participated in the West Virginia Farm Bureau program of “Our Food Link,” which donates annually to all three Ronald McDonald Houses located in West Virginia.
Upshur County Farm Bureau will be collecting for this very worthwhile program, during the membership drive.
All proceeds collected will go to the West Virginia Ronald McDonald Houses.
“Our Food Link” is just one of the many programs that Farm Bureau has worked with, and contributed to, over the past 100 years.
