ELKINS – The Inter-Mountain is offering a special “Shop Local” contest and advertising offer during the holiday season.

With the “Shop Local” program, businesses can reward your customers for shopping with you!

Participating businesses will be listed in The Inter-Mountain as part of a full page every day for six weeks with the option of an additional display ad weekly; and inclusion in Facebook and online promotions to encourage people to shop in those businesses during the busiest shopping season of the year.

The Inter-Mountain will provide “Shop Local” signs for you to display and you only need to take care of your customers.

Customers will be asked to submit three receipts dates during the program dates, from participating businesses to The Inter-Mountain for a chance to win one of the weekly $50 gift certificates and a $1,000 cash grand prize.

The ads will run daily through Dec. 14. The Grand Prize will be randomly drawn Dec. 16 and ready for pickup on Dec. 21.
