MILL CREEK — Randolph County Schools offered resources Tuesday for the community following the death of a Tygarts Valley Middle/High School student.

The Tygarts Valley Middle/High School’s cafeteria/band room was open to the public Tuesday to offer resources and support for students, staff and community members “who need to process” the loss of a fellow student, Randolph County Schools announced on social media Tuesday morning.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our Tygarts Valley Middle/High School students,” a Randolph County Schools statement on social media read. “Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.”
