Erick D. “Dino” Shoulders, 53, a resident of Elkins, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019, at his residence.
He was born April 15, 1965, at Elkins, a son of Jean Miller Kelley of Elkins and stepfather Jerry Arbogast of Mill Creek.
He was married to Barbara Robey Shoulders, who survives.
Also surviving is one son, Donavon Brooks Ryan and Emily Rowan of Elkins and two daughters, Angie Maria Hellums and husband Curtis of Roswell, New Mexico, and Makala Shoulders of Elkins. Three sisters, Susi Moore and sons, Joshua Moore and daughter Deveni, and Cree Moore and wife Cynthia and son Bradley Cree of Tubuck, Texas, Krista Curnutte and husband Scott of Jimtown and Jeri Arbogast Teter and her daughter Ava Teter, both of Elkins. Four grandchildren, Jon Wayne Hellums, Austin and Patrick Hellums and Heaven Lea Pritt at home also survive.
Dino worked as a mechanic and loved working on cars. He enjoyed cooking, taking care of the homeless and was a member of the First Church of Christ of Elkins.
Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. On Friday, April 12, Erick will be moved to the First Church of Christ for visitation from noon until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. Pastor Dave Collins, Pastor Gary Kindle and Pastor Mike House will officiate. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins.
