Mr. Randy Lowell Hutchison, 67, a resident of Belington, departed this life Thursday, May 9, 2019, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital. He had been declining in health, but death was following a short illness.
He was born Nov. 21, 1951, at Nashville, Arkansas, a son of the late Lowell Lyndell and Nora Inez Eude Hutchison.
On April 20, 2002, he was united in marriage to the former Debra Gail Harris, who survives at their residence.
He is survived by two children; Wendy Shobe and husband Brian of Franklin and Larry “Chuck” Hutchison and companion Kim of Elkins, mother-in-law; Norma Gail Harris of Florida, stepson; Michael Harris of Belington, and two sisters; Dorine Flowers and Joyce Flowers both of De Queen, Arkansas. Additional survivors include eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a whole host of friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; Leon Hutchison, one sister; Charlotte Hampton, and father-in-law; Herman Harris.
Randy graduated high school in Derrick, Arkansas, and was Christian by faith. He was a truck driver for most of his adult life and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. Randy was an avid fisherman and race fan and loved to be in the outdoors. He had several K-9 companions that he loved dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Hutchison donated his body to the Human Gift Registry. A memorial service will be conducted from the Weaver Church of the Nazarene at a later date.
