Margaret Florene Harris Streets, 83, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life, Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins. She had been in declining health and death was unexpected.
Margaret was born Friday, Nov. 15, 1935, in Birmingham, Alabama, a daughter of the late Prince Wilson Harris and Flora Pauline Comer Harris.
In El Paso, Texas, on Dec. 10, 1965, she married Dorsey William Streets, who preceded her in death.
Also left to cherish her memory are five sons, Arthur Buckholz and wife, Cecilia, of Texas, Robert Buckholz and wife, Tammy, Randy Buckholz both of Wisconsin, Terry Buckholz of Texas, James Streets of Elkins, two daughters, Debbie Walters and husband, Bill, of Wisconsin, and Tammy McDowell of South Carolina, one sister, Amelia Cunningham of Arizona, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband, was one son, Kenneth Streets.
Margaret was a homemaker. She loved to watch the Hallmark channel, soap operas and do word search puzzles.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home in Valley Bend on Wednesday, July 10, from noon until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. The Rev. Basil Hensley will officiate and interment will follow at Elkins Memorial Gardens.
