Barbara L. Polce
Barbara Louise Tingler Polce, 78, passed from this life Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Barbara was born Sunday, Nov. 24, 1940, in Bowden, a daughter of the late Denver Tingler and Elizabeth Calain Tingler.
She was married to Richard Polce, who preceded her in death in 2013.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Michael Polce and wife Donna, and Tracy Polce and wife Cindy, all of Coalton, three grandchildren, Jennifer Gabelman and husband Barry, Cassie Polce, and Jason McKelvy, four great-grandchildren, Gemma, Camden, Skyler, and Aylssa, and one sister, Brenda J. Bennett and husband Calvin “Buzz” of Norton.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband was one son, Mark Owen Polce, siblings, Robert Calain, Billy Jean Grady, Kenneth N. Tingler, Bernice Katherine Ross Miller, Diane Simonetti, Thomas Bruce Tingler, and infant twins, Donald and Mona Tingler, and Anna Tingler.
Barbara was a graduate of Coalton High School and had been employed as a homemaker for Companion Care. Barbara was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Patrick Church in Coalton. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family and social hour at the church.
Visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Coalton Thursday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. until noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at noon. Father James E. O’Connor will officiate and interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery in Kingsville.
