He returned back to his home in West Virginia during the mid-seventies. He was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ at Whitmer. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing and trapping. He and his wife always raised a large garden, canned and preserved and gave a lot of it away to his friends and neighbors. Final rites will be conducted at the church on Monday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Owen Whetzel will officiate and interment will follow at the Laurel Hill Cemetery at Whitmer.
