Wanda Lee Elza
Wanda Lee Elza, 71, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020, in the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 8, 1948, at Harman, a daughter of the late Joseph Carson Elza and Juanita Summerfield Elza Carr, who survives in Elkins.
Also surviving are four sisters, Dollena “Dolly” Collier and husband John of Mill Creek, Dora Fisher of Elkins, Betty Hale of Norton and Ethel Smearman and husband Don of Elkins. Four brothers, Alvin Elza and wife Patty, Sam Elza and wife Charlotte, Richard Carr and wife Karen and Ronald Carr all of Elkins and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Also preceding her in death was her stepfather, Vernon Carr and brothers, Donald Carr and Jimmy Carr.
Wanda was a member of Hart Chapel Church. She enjoyed making crafts and listening to music. She loved going to church, talking to her family and spending time with her mother whom she loved very much.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services for Wanda will be private. Interment will take place in Maplewood Cemetery.
