Chad F. Hawley
Chad F. Hawley, 46, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Monday, May 18, 2020, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Chad was born Wednesday, March 27, 1974, in Winter Haven, Florida, a son of the late Clifton Hawley and Sherry Lee Bodkin Kerns, who survives in Elkins.
He married the former Priscilla Rose Koch, who survives at home.
Also left to cherish his memory are four children, Takoda, Cheyenne, Cherokee and Trystan Hawley, five siblings, Kathryn Atkinson of Black Mountain, North Carolina, CK Hawley and wife Puchy of Miami, Florida, Robert Hawley and wife Janet of Buena Park, California, Mary Hawley of Jacksonville, Florida, and Martha Lee Thomas and husband Jimmy of Jacksonville, Florida, several nieces and nephews including, Christine Hawley of Buena Park, California, and Chris Hawley of Miami, Florida.
Chad was a graduate of Elkins High School. For 13 years, he worked his dream job of EMT/firefighter. More recently, Chad discovered a new passion and began working as a dispatcher for Randolph County OEM. Chad was devoted to family and friends.
Chad’s request for cremation was honored. A Celebration of Life for family and friends to get together will be held Saturday, May 23, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Rivers of Living Water Church on the corner of Lincoln and Main.
