Dorhal Dainwood Roach
Dorhal Dainwood Roach, 90, of Boyer, passed away May 20, 2020, at his home.
Dorhal was born July 7, 1929, in Rupert, to the late James Gaston and Gladys Simmons Roach.
Dorhal served four years in the Army during the Korean War. He provided for his family as a masonry technician and carpenter at Fort Belvoir Army Base in Virginia for 30 years until he retired in 1980. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and exploring.
Dorhal was preceded in death by brothers Lance, Kenneth, Garland, Randolph (infant) and Don Roach and sisters June Tuck, Evelyn Thorpe, Phyllis Cuckler, Rose Ellen Thompson, Bonnie Leete, and Gail Harper.
Dorhal is survived by his wife Shirley Lambert Roach of 56 years of Boyer, his children Darrell Roach (Virginia), Travis Roach (Michelle) (Virginia), Tina Nicely (John) (West Virginia), Kathy Mason (West Virginia) and Beth Baylor (Hutch) (Pennsylvania), eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, as well as two brothers Steve Roach (South Carolina) and Erick Roach (Virginia).
In keeping with Dorhal’s wishes, he will be cremated with no services.
