Bridget Neal Howell Tallman

Mrs. Bridget Neal Howell Tallman, 68, a resident of Belington, departed this life Monday evening, July 27, 2020, at her residence. She had been in declining health but death was unexpected.

She was born July 19, 1952, in Delbarton, a daughter of the late Jesse James and Vaunita Faye Maynard Howell.

On Jan. 22, 1983, she was united in marriage to Larry Ray Tallman, who survives at their home in Belington.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Angela Tallman and wife Chelsea of Belington, two stepsons; William Tallman and wife Connie of Buckhannon and David Tallman of Belington, five siblings; Brenda Hargus and husband Rogher of Owensboro, Kentucky, Darrell Howell and wife Judy of South Amherst, Ohio, Jim Howell and wife Bobbie of Springfield, Ohio, Jessica Hayes and husband Jimmy of Belington and Brian Slone and wife Abby of Twinsburg, Ohio, two sisters-in-law; Genieve Arbogast and Janet Russell, two brothers-in-law; Gary Tallman and Herman Tallman all of Belington, and stepmother; Yvonne Howell. Additional survivors include five grandchildren; Lillianna Cleavenger, Devin Tallman, Haily Tallman, Makayla Tallman and Chelsea Reed, six great-grandchildren; Gavin Reed, Riley Reed, Elexa Reed, McKenna Isner, Teagan Graham and Gage Graham, and her lifetime friends; Peggy Altman, Wendy Ware, and Mary Marteney, among many others, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by infant sister; Carol Sue Howell and one grandchild; Austin Tallman.

Bridget attended the schools of Ohio and was a graduate from the Midview High School in Grafton, Ohio. She was a homemaker and was a former employee of Leo P. Ware & Son in Belington. She attended The Faith Deliverance Church in Belington; she dearly loved her church family and was close to each and every one. She enjoyed sewing, coloring, playing cards, and loved music. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home, 56 N. Brandenburg St. in Belington on Thursday, July 30, from 5 – 9 p.m. and again on Friday from 8 – 11 a.m., the funeral hour, when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Robert Ware officiating. Interment to follow in the Fraternal Cemetery in Belington. Due to the Governor’s recent order face coverings are recommended while paying your respects in the funeral home.
