Carol Sue Lowther Sarvinas
Carol Sue Lowther Sarvinas, 77, a resident of Dailey, passed from this life Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins.
Carol was born Thursday, Feb. 4, 1943, in Webster Springs, a daughter of the late Melville Hayward Lowther and Sarah Aretta Cogar Lowther.
She was married to William George “Bill” Sarvinas, who preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory is one daughter, Kimmie Sue Young and husband Rick, a special nephew and caregiver whom she considered like a son, Josh Lowther, grandchildren, Heather and husband Mike, Brittany, Ricky and Sunny, great-grandchildren, Cameron, Brooke, Maddison, Bristol, Rocco, and Layla, three siblings, Charlie Lowther, Betty Humphrey, Jean Krause, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband were six siblings, Buck, Don, Dana, Josephine, Melville Jr., Billie, and two infant siblings, Lester Gray and Myrtle Nell.
Carol was a graduate of Parsons High School and had been employed as an office manager for AT&T. She then owned and operated her own business for 30 years in Sanford, Florida, called Sentry Sign Installers. Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed doing paint by numbers with her sister. She was Greek Orthodox by faith.
Visitation will be held at the Hostetler Funeral Home Saturday, Aug. 1, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Carol’s request for cremation will then be honored. As we continue following guidelines from the CDC and Gov. Jim Justice, facial coverings are required for those attending.
