Sharon was a graduate of Parsons High School. She worked in newspaper delivery in the Ravenna area and later worked in Home Health Care. She was a Methodist by faith. She loved her family, especially her mother. She cherished her cats and was an avid collector.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Gary Phillips will officiate and interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to a home health care facility of the donor’s choice. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Sharon Lou Pennington. As we continue to follow the CDC guidelines and the recent mandate by Gov. Jim Justice, social distancing as well as a mask will be required for those in attendance.
