Thomas G. ‘Tommy’ Pritt
Thomas G. “Tommy” Pritt, 58, a resident of Beverly, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.
He was born Nov. 24, 1962, at Elkins, a son of Helen Telemeco of Elkins and the late Humbolt B. Pritt Jr.
He is survived by two sons, Cody Pritt and wife, Tisha, of Elkins and T.J. Simmons; five brothers, Humbolt B. Pritt III and wife, Mary, of Beverly, Gary Pritt of Elkins, Sam Pritt and wife, Jenny, of Beverly, William “Bill” Pritt of Beverly and Howard “Cliff” Pritt of Beverly; two sisters, Beverly Hess of Buckhannon and Mary Graham and husband, John, of Beverly; two grandchildren, Hannah and Ezra.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Also preceding him in death, in addition to his father, was one brother, John J. Pritt.
Tommy was a graduate of Diesel Institute of America in Grantsville, Maryland, and was a truck driver at a younger age.
He worked at Colonial Mill Works and at the time of his death was disabled.
Tommy was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman and a member of Mountaineer Chapter Izaak Walton League of America and a Methodist by faith.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at noon Friday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Leon Brown officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required for those attending the services for Mr. Pritt.
Interment will follow in the Elkins Memorial Gardens on the Country Club Road near Elkins.
