Ian Nathaniel Raezer, 34, a resident of Terra Alta, West Virginia, passed from this life Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at his home. Death was unexpected.
Ian was born on Saturday, Jan. 23, 1988, in Carroll County, Maryland, a son of George Lorenze Raezer and Susan Carmella Rowan Wise.
Left to cherish Ian’s memory are two children, Orion Alexander Raezer and Mina Gabrielle Raezer; two sisters, Whitney Lynn Harper and Trista Renee Harper; one brother, Aidan Raezer and wife, Karrah; two nephews, Michael Crews and Kenneth Crews; one niece, Evelyn Harper; many friends; and his girlfriend, Mindy Sigley.
Ian was a graduate of Tucker County High School with the class of 2008. He enjoyed writing poetry, listening to music, playing bass and guitar, video games, hiking, reading, photography and operating drones.
Visitation will be held at Hostetler Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. Rev. Matthew Murray will officiate, and interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thomas.
