Virginia Mae Lambert Rexrode

Virginia Mae Lambert Rexrode, 82, a resident of Durbin, passed from this life Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at home with family by her side and under the care of Mountain Hospice.
Virginia was born Monday, March 31, 1941, in Bartow, a daughter of the later Kenna Lambert and Hazel Smith Lambert.
She was married to William “Bill” Charles Rexrode, who preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory is her only child, David Charles Rexrode and wife, Barbara; two grandsons, Joshua David and Seth Tyler Rexrode; and one sister, Grace Richardson.
Preceding her in death beside her parents and husband were four brothers, Roy, William, Don and John.
Virginia attended the schools of Pocahontas County and had been employed at Howe’s Leather Company. She enjoyed getting out and socializing and loved to cook. She was a member of the Durbin Brethren Church.
Virginia’s request for cremation was honored.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Virginia’s name to Mountain Hospice 1002 Crim Ave, Belington, WV 26250.
