Betty Jo Kittle Weese

She was born April 21, 1953, at Belington, a daughter of the late Keith Richard Kittle and Josephine Ruth Suder Kittle, who survives in Belington.

On Sept.10, 2001, she was united in marriage to Jefferson Thomas Weese, who preceded her in death on July 11, 2022.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Melinda Williams and husband, Dale, of Ellamore, West Virginia; three stepchildren, Cathy Gifford and husband, Jerry, of Louisiana, Sybil Harper and husband, Marty, of Texas and JT Weese of Texas; one brother, Jimmy Kittle of Belington; one sister, Emma Kyle of Belington; a special caregiver and friend, Jamie Kerns of Belington. Additional survivors include grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by one infant child; one brother, Billy Kittle; and a brother-in-law, Jim Kyle.

Betty was a graduate from the Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1972 and was currently a homemaker and previously worked at Nella’s Nursing Home in Elkins taking care of the elderly.

She formerly attended the Grace Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was Baptized and in recent years attended Concord Community Church. She loved to communicate on Facebook with her friends, she loved animals and was a kind and loving lady. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Monday Oct. 9, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Andrews officiating. Interment will then follow in the Concord Cemetery near Belington.
