Eloise Keller

Eloise was born Wednesday, March 19, 1947, in Elkins.

Eloise was raised by her paternal grandparents, the late Jacob and Sylvia Keller.

She was never married.

Eloise was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan Wayne “John” Keller; her aunt. Nancy Keller; and her cousin, Chuck Keller.

Surviving Eloise is her cousin, Pam Keller; and a lifelong friend, Joy Hostetler, who had cared for her over the last years of her life.

Eloise was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1965. She had worked for Randolph Enterprises and for the Elkins Inter-Mountain as a paper sorter and typist. She had also worked for G.C. Murphy Company, and she had spent 44 years working at the Elkins Randolph County Homeless Shelter.

Along with her brother, John, they spent summers for many years mowing yards in South Elkins. Eloise loved her dogs and had many friends that she enjoyed talking with both in person and on the phone.

Visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from noon until 1 p.m., the funeral hour.

Interment will follow at Elkins Memorial Gardens.
