Wilda Landis Lanham Zirkle

Wilda was born Friday, May 11, 1951, in High Germany, a daughter of the late Perry Lanham and Junella “Nettis Irene Scott Lanham.

On April 2, 1970, she married her best friend and love of her life, Delbert Clinton Zirkle, who survives.

Also left to cherish memory are two sons, Kenneth Zirkle and wife, Rosalin, of Valley Bend, and Leslie Zirkle and wife, Bertha, of Mabie; five grandchildren, Cori “Paige” Ferry and husband, Donny, of Norton, Leslie “Jake” Zirkle and wife, Shelby, of Mabie, Leah Ketterman and husband, Zach, of Beverly, and Anna Belldina, and Nathan Belldina, both of Clarksburg; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Delmar Lanham and wife, Nancy, Kathern Harris and husband, Willard, Hertzel Lanham and wife, Martha, Robert Lanham and wife, Shirley, Kelmar Lanham and wife, Marsha, Zendall Lanham and wife, Sherry, and Leasa Scott and husband, Brian; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Wilda in death besides her parents was her son, Stephen Wayne Zirkle; and three sisters, Wyoneta Bodkins, Marie Taylor and Uneta Robinson.

Wilda attended the schools of Randolph County and had obtained her GED.

She was employed for many years as a CAN for Nella’s Inc. and Davis Memorial Hospital. She attended Rowan Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, flowers, wind chimes and family picnics.

A graveside service will be held at Upper Rowan Memorial Cemetery in Mabie on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Stella Faye Moyer officiating.
